Vaelinya’s animals are living parts of place, weather, route, memory, sound, shelter, food, work, care, and ecological return.
Some hum near warmth. Some rise before they fly along. Some come from the sea both ways. Some walk backwards to keep wind from their faces. Some appear only when memory, grief, route, weather, or return has reached a certain state.
Each animal belongs to a place and a purpose.

Vaelinya animals are not decorations. Their colour, sound, movement, and behaviour show how they belong to water, moss, river, weather, memory, stone, root, or care.
Public pages always explain that meaning in text, so readers do not need sight or hearing to understand the animal.
Animal groups
The full public animal system will later include insects, birds, elder fauna, wetland creatures, fish and sea creatures, domestic animals, small mammals, reptiles, shell creatures, predators, and mythic or rare animals.
These category pages should come later. The first step is to make the strongest early animals clear and readable.
